Sakala is a name of service launched by the government of Karnataka. It is also known as Karnataka Guarantee of Services to Citizens Act, 2011. Sakala or Karnataka Guarantee of Services to Citizens Act, 2011 provides guarantee of government related total 151 services to citizens or peoples in the State of Karnataka within the scheduled time limit.

It covers Revenue department, Transport department, Commercial Taxes department, Food & Civil Supplies department, Health & Family Welfare department, Education department, Home department, Labour and Rural Development department & Panchayat Raj department.

Sakal launched on 2nd April, 2012. It was inaugurated by former chief minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda. It allows compensation of Rs.20/- per day up to maximum Rs.500/-. This is a very good initiative by the government for providing Govt. services to the public.

Job Description:

1) Classical Dance (Female) (Bharatnatyam/ Kathak): 01 Post
Educational Qualification: Candidate should have passed Matriculation or its equivalent (with minimum 50%) and completed Degree/Diploma/Certificate in relevant Classical Dance (Bharatnatyam/ Kathak) disciplines from recognized government/ government institutes.

2) Light Vocal (Female): 01 Post
Educational Qualification: Candidate should have passed Matriculation or its equivalent (with minimum 50%) and completed Degree/Diploma/Certificate in relevant Light Vocal disciplines from recognized government/ government institutes.

Salary: Appointed candidate will be received salary in following pay scale,
PB-1, Rs.5200-20200 /- + Grade Pay Rs.1900/- (RSRP)/ PB-1, Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs.2000/- (RSRP)
