The Prasar Bharati (PB) is India‘s largest broadcaster and comprises Doordarshan & All India Radio. It has issued notification to recruit Engineering Assistant & Technician through Staff Selection Commission of India all over the country. Job Description:
1) Engineering Assistant: 1290 posts
Salary: Appointed candidate will receive remuneration in pay band Rs.9300-34800/- + G.P. Rs.4200/-
Educational Qualification: Candidate should have completed diploma in Radio/ Telecommunication/ Electrical / Electronics/ Information Technology/ Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with one year experience in relevant field.
OR
degree with Physics from a recognized University with One year experience in the relevant field.
OR
degree in Telecommunication/Electronics/Electrical/Information Technology/ Electronics and Communication Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
Age Limit: Age of the candidate should not more than 30 years.
2) Technician: 340 posts
Salary: Appointed candidate will receive remuneration in pay band Rs.5200-320200/- + G.P. Rs.2400/-
Educational Qualification: Candidate should have passed 10+2 from a recognized Board and Diploma (minimum 2 years) in Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
Age Limit: Age of the candidate should be between 18 to 25 years.
Dates to Remember: Last date of online application for Part-I is 20/03/2013 up to 5.00 PM. Last date of online application for Part-II is 22/03/2013 up to 5.00 PM.
Examination will be held on 26/05/2013.
Application Fees: Application fee of Rs.200/- is to be payable by the candidate through State Bank of India either in the form of challan or SBI net banking. ST/SC/PH/ Ex-Servicemen/ Women candidates are exempted from application fee.
Selection Process: Selection of the candidate will be based on written examination held by Staff Selection Commission.
