Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust (JNPT) has issued notification to engage Graduate/Technician (Diploma)/ Technician (10+2 Vocational) Apprentices under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. Applications are invited from interested and eligible candidates to take admission in Apprenticeship training programme under the Apprenticeship Act. Job Description:
Number of vacancies: There are total 22 vacancies in three programmes.
(A) Bachelor of Engineering:
i) Electrical: 02 Posts
ii) Electronics & Telecomm: 01 Post
iii) Mechanical: 03 Posts
Stipend: Candidate will be received stipend Rs.3560/- per month.
(B) Diploma in Engineering:
i) Civil: 02 Posts
ii) Electrical: 02 Posts
iii) Mechanical: 03 Posts
Stipend: Candidate will be received stipend Rs.2530/- per month.
(C) 10+2 Vocational Course:
i) Accounting & Auditing: 03 Posts
ii) Office Secretary/ Steno: 04 Posts
iii) Purchasing & Store keeping: 02 Posts
Stipend: Candidate will be received stipend Rs.1970/- per month.
Apprentice Training Period: The period of training will be 1 (one) year.
Educational Qualification: Applicants should have completed their Degree/Diploma (AICTE approved) & 10+2 Vocational Course in the year 2012 and onwards to take admission in Apprentice Programme.
