Administration of Union Territory of Lakshadweep invites applications from the local candidates for the post of Programme coordinator & Field Assistant purely on contract basis to work under the project of “Assessment of Marine Fishery Resources of Lakshadweep Waters”. The project duration will be five years. Post details are given below.
Job Description
1) Programme coordinator: 01 Post
Salary: Rs.10000/- is to be receivable per month
Educational Qualification: Candidate should have completed M.Sc. Fisheries Science/ M.Sc. Aquaculture and Fishery Micro biology/ M.Sc. Fish % Fisheries M.Sc. industrial fisheries/ M.Sc. zoology/ M.Sc. Aquaculture and Fish Processing/ M.Sc. Applied Fisheries & Aqua culture from recognized university with minimum 50% marks and having knowledge of computer.
2) Field Assistant: 10 Posts
Salary: Rs.8000/- is to be receivable per month.
Educational Qualification: Candidate should have completed 10+2 (Science) and Open water Driving Course with adequate knowledge of computer.
Desirable: One year experience in relevant field is desirable for both posts.
Age Limit: Candidate should not below 18 years and should not above 30 years as on 11/02/2013.
Age Relaxation: It will be applicable as per the prevailing rules.
Dates to Remember: Last date of receipt of application is 11/02/2013 up to 5.00 pm.
Selection Process: Selection of the candidate will be based on performance in interview.
